Here are a few of the wonderful animals we’ve been blessed to support—whether in transition or with extra love and care— during our first year. 💛

🐾 As a sanctuary, we simply cannot welcome them all. We’re also not set up for short-term or temporary housing. That said, we do what we can. When animals need homes, we share their stories, spread the word, and connect with our community to help place them in safe, loving environments.

Mama Kate and Her Babies

Kate was a pregnant stray who one day wondered into a local mechanic shop. After feeding her and her pregnancy progressed we took her in so she can safely have her babies. With a little help, all her 9 babies survived and were placed with their forever families, as well as Kate.

Scrappy

One of Kate's babies, "scrappy", the runt was almost lost during birth and was soon rejected by her mom and siblings.

After weeks of keeping her warm and bottle feeding while continuously weighing her and praying she makes it through the early stages of her life, she quickly became a sweet little kitten that needed a special home.

Bennie the GOAT - We had the pleasure of his company for a short but fun time!

Socco

Socco was a scared pup, found as a stray, wandering the streets. After taking him in and giving him some much needed food, water, and love. With help from our  team, we were able to quickly find Socco his furrever home with his Dad, Trey.

Important Update from Hearts & Hooves Haven

Hearts & Hooves Haven continues to serve as a safe haven sanctuary for a variety of farm animals and barn cats in need of refuge, healing, and compassionate care.

Although we are no longer able to accept dogs into our care, our mission and commitment to animal welfare remain as strong as ever.

Thank you for your continued support as we focus our efforts on the animals we are best equipped to help.
