Sponsor a Resident — Change a Life

Every animal at Hearts & Hooves Haven has a story. Sponsoring one is the most personal way to make a difference.

Many supporters feel a special connection to certain animals here and choose to symbolically sponsor a sanctuary resident as a way of helping support their lifelong care.

Every animal at the sanctuary has a story, and each one now lives in a safe and peaceful environment where they receive daily care, proper nutrition, and veterinary attention when needed.

Sponsoring an animal is a meaningful way to support the sanctuary while honoring the individual animals who call this place home.

    About Our Animal Sponsorships

All animal sponsorships at Hearts & Hooves Haven are honorary and symbolic in nature. By sponsoring a resident, you are making a charitable donation to Hearts & Hooves Haven 501(c)3 in honor of that animal. Sponsorship does not convey ownership, custody, or any legal interest in any animal.

Donations made through our sponsorship program are allocated to the general care, feeding, and veterinary needs of our rescued animals as a whole. While your gift is made in honor of a specific resident, funds may be used where they are most needed across the sanctuary to ensure the wellbeing of all animals in our care.

Hearts & Hooves Haven is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for sponsorship donations.

    Pebbles

    Pebbles

Our current longest resident, Pebbles is our mini-horse who loves treats and attention! She may be little, but she has a mighty personality — she thinks she's the star of the show!

    I Want to Sponsor Pebbles
    Zena

    Zena

Zena is our largest, but indisputably the sweetest resident here at Hearts & Hooves Haven. She likes to give you lots of kisses if you let her. She's had 3 surgeries since joining us here at the sanctuary, and she's doing awesome!

    I Want to Sponsor Zena
    Stinker-Belle

    Stinker-Belle

Her name may give it away... Stinker-Belle may be little but she sure has a BIG personality. She's made the most progress of all our rescued residents and the trust she's developing with us is absolutely heartwarming. Reach out to learn more and hear her inspiring story!

    Goats

    Dolli

    Dolli

Dolli, our smallest goat resident, is also our sweetest little love bug. She loves pets and will follow you around like a puppy dog.

    I Want to Sponsor Dolli
    Bambi

    Bambi

Bambi is our picky girl. Unlike her sisters Izzi and Dolli, Bambi is not a fan of all fruits and veggies — but she does love her apples!

    I Want to Sponsor Bambi
    Izzi

    Izzi

Izzi and her sisters (Dolli & Bambi) became Pebbles' 'babies' as they were bottle fed and quickly attached to mama Pebbles! Izzi had some health challenges at the beginning but pulled through and is healthy and happy today!

    I Want to Sponsor Izzi

    Pigs

    Ellie

    Ellie

Our Miss Ellie is little for a 'miniature' pot belly pig — but her size is a good eye-opening lesson in how these 'tiny' pigs get much, much bigger. She's sweet and patient as they get. She has to be, to put up with her companion Charlie!

    I Want to Sponsor Ellie
    Charlie

    Charlie

Charlie, Charlie, Charlie! Our big man on campus! Charlie is a 'micro mini' pot belly pig — and also a reminder of how big these wonderful animals do get! Charlie is our most vocal resident. He's never hesitated to let us know how he feels.

    I Want to Sponsor Charlie

    Barn Cats

    Wicked

    Wicked

Originally a feral barn cat, Wicked is our tuxedo beauty. She has a beautiful life and a beautiful story. Don't be fooled by her name — she's got a Wicked cute personality!

    I Want to Sponsor Wicked
    Fluffy

    Fluffy

Fluffy, another original feral barn cat turned lap kitty, has come a long way! Fluffy took the longest to trust but she has become a true example of what love looks like. The trust, love, and bond she has developed is beautiful.

    I Want to Sponsor Fluffy
    Sam

    Sam

Sam, unlike her sisters, was not a barn cat. She was born to a feral cat and taken in as a bottle baby kitten. She fears nothing and is the most curious little fur ball ever — with a purr that can melt your heart!

    I Want to Sponsor Sam
    Hazel (nickname: Teetoo)

    Hazel (nickname: Teetoo)

Hazel is our most playful and entertaining one! She is super social and loving — with a mischievous side.

    Birds

    Chuck Walter Doodle

    Chuck Walter Doodle

Our resident rooster! Captured and brought to us by a wonderful community member who saved him when he was chucked over a fence into a field to fend for himself at just 3 months old. He's loud, proud, and right at home here.

    I Want to Sponsor Chuck
    Bubbles

    Bubbles

Bubbles is one of our sweet hens who free ranges the sanctuary daily and keeps everyone on their toes.

    I Want to Sponsor Bubbles

    Henifer

Dark in color and feisty in spirit! She's the first one out of the coop to free range for snacks.

    I Want to Sponsor Henifer
    Perl

    Perl

It's not hard to see where she got her name from. She really is a gem — a real beauty!

    I Want to Sponsor Perl
    Raven

    Raven

Don't let her size fool you — she's large and in charge of her flock! She's the rooster's shadow and is not afraid of a thing!

    I Want to Sponsor Raven

    Tortoises

    Jenny

    Jenny

She's the older of the two Sulcata Tortoises and arrived here with just one eye. She doesn't let that slow her down — she's fast and fun!

    I Want to Sponsor Jenny
    Shelly

    Shelly

The smaller of our two tortoises, Shelly is curious and always the first to check out anything new in their enclosure.
