Lifelong Care, Not Just Rescue
Hearts & Hooves Haven is a nonprofit 501(c)3 sanctuary in San Diego County dedicated to providing lifelong care for rescued farm animals. Animals who arrive here often come from difficult circumstances — neglect, abuse, abandonment, or unsafe situations — and are given safety, compassionate care, and a permanent place to call home. We focus on often sick, injured, or older animals that others overlook. The love these animals give back is truly priceless.
Free to the Community — Always
Our community programs are 100% free to families, children, youth groups, and our veterans. We believe the healing power of animals should never have a price tag.
Rescue & Rehabilitate
We take in animals from neglect, abuse, and unsafe situations and give them the medical care and love they need to heal.
A Permanent Home
No animal is ever re-homed or auctioned. Every rescue lives out their full life here, safe and loved — forever.
Heal Communities
Through free programs for families and veterans, we use the healing power of animals to strengthen the people around us.
