Why Farm-ilies Matter
Farm animals aren't just animals — they're companions, healers, and vital members of a thriving homestead.
More Than Pets — Members of a Farm-ily
Many families living in county-zoned areas for hooved animals may not realize the incredible benefits these animals bring — not only as companions but also as valuable members of a healthy homestead, or as we like to call it, a 'small farm-ily.'

Pasture Companions
Horses that are no longer rideable can still serve as beautiful pasture pets. Along with proper hay and grain, they graze naturally — helping with vegetation control and contributing to the hearts of heaven farm experience.
Natural Pest Control
Barn cats provide an eco-friendly, pesticide-free solution for rodent management, further enhancing the harmony of hearts and hooves in our sanctuary.
A Safer Environment
The daily presence of hooved animals such as horses, cows, pigs, and goats can deter snakes, offering an added layer of safety for residents, children, and pets.
Healing Connections
Children struggling with anxiety, families in hard seasons, and veterans carrying invisible wounds all find something real here — peace, presence, and the unconditional love of an animal who asks for nothing but kindness.
That's Why We're Free
We made a deliberate decision to never charge for our programs. We never want cost to be the reason a child doesn't get to spend time in the sanctuary environment, or a veteran doesn't get an afternoon of peace. This sanctuary exists for the community as much as it exists for the animals. That's what Farm-ilies means to us.
